ALGORITHM of actions of participants in the educational process upon announcement of the Air raid alert.![]() Dear students, faculty, and staff! Your safety is a top priority for our Institute. In case of an air raid alert or other emergency situations, it is important to proceed quickly and in an organized manner to the shelter. Where are the shelters located? The Institute’s shelters are equipped according to safety requirements and are located at the following address: [Vinnytsia, Akademika Yangel Street, 4] The shelter is equipped with power supply, sanitation, furniture, a first-aid kit, and a supply of bottled water. What do you need to know? Familiarize yourself with evacuation routes and the location of the nearest shelter. Do not panic during an alert and follow the instructions of responsible staff. Bring documents, water, essential items, and communication devices with you. While in the shelter, remain calm and follow safety rules. Please do not ignore warning signals and always be prepared to act quickly. Remember: your safety depends on your awareness and responsibility. Stay safe! Information about shelters (organization of the educational process at the HEI “DIMZ” during an “Air Raid Alert” notification) In accordance with current legislation, requirements and recommendations of state and local authorities, and the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region, to ensure the safety of participants in the educational process in the city of Dnipro, the HEI “Dnipro Institute of Medicine and Public Health” has properly equipped protective structures (shelters) in the basements of the main academic building and affiliated practice bases. During classes at clinical bases (affiliated clinics), students have access to the protective structures of those clinics as well as nearby public shelters. Before the start of each academic year, the Institute’s protective structures are inspected by a state commission that includes, among others, employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Directional signs to the protective structures are placed in corridors and stairwells. The shelters are equipped with classrooms and restrooms. Participants in the educational process in the shelters have access to drinking water, hot water, the Internet, and mobile phone charging. The shelters have backup power supply. The Institute has developed and approved an Algorithm of Actions for participants in the educational process upon receiving the “Air Raid Alert” signal. All participants receive regular briefings on actions to take during an alert. ![]() 09.07.2024
