Facilities and Clinics

We invest in creating the right environment for our students. That means outstanding facilities, welcoming study spaces and personalized support to ensure freedom and flexibility. All facilities are well-equipped with modern amenities and computers with high-speed internet access.

DIMH Main Point (Campus)

Our beautiful DIMH Main Point (Campus) is located in the heart of Vinnytsia—a safe, cozy, and culturally rich city in central Ukraine. Vinnytsia is known for its green spaces, historic architecture, and European atmosphere, making it an ideal place for international students. The campus is conveniently situated close to libraries, museums, parks, and shopping centers. As a thriving regional hub, Vinnytsia offers excellent healthcare facilities, dynamic economic development, and a warm welcome for students from around the world.

Lecture Halls

Our carefully designed lecture halls promote interactive and participatory learning. Their close proximity to affiliated teaching hospitals ensures smooth communication with patients and strong integration into the local healthcare community. All lecture halls feature modern multimedia and audio-visual technology with excellent sound insulation. DIMH Main Point offers three medium-size lecture halls. Large lecture halls at our affiliated teaching hospitals host mandatory lectures, academic events, and formal ceremonies.

Self-Study Rooms

Students can make use of breakout areas and self-directed learning spaces on campus. These include the Reading Lounge on the 2nd floor of DIMH Main Point. Students are also welcome to use available classrooms for self-study whenever they are not booked for teaching.

Associated Clinics

In addition to traditional lectures and case-based learning, our curriculum emphasizes practical training such as bedside teaching, clerkships, clinical practice, and research. Bedside training takes place in the wards of our associated clinics under strict ethical standards and supervision by experienced DIMH faculty.

Key associated clinics in Vinnytsia include municipal maternal and neonatal centers, surgical hospitals for over 300 patients, and modern private clinics. These clinics also provide outpatient services where students can observe and participate in consultations with therapists, gynecologists, cardiologists, neurologists, urologists, ophthalmologists, dermatologists, gastroenterologists, ENT specialists, endocrinologists and more.

Center for Simulation Training and Assessment (CSTA)

The CSTA advances interdisciplinary and team-based skills, preparing students to meet modern healthcare challenges. In this facility, students practice procedures ranging from catheter insertion and childbirth to trauma resuscitation.

The center offers over 50 simulation scenarios covering cases such as traumatic injury, pediatric septic shock, kidney disease, and adolescent pregnancy. After each scenario, students review video recordings with faculty to reflect on successes and areas for improvement. The CSTA fosters collaborative learning across all healthcare disciplines.

Courses at the CSTA include:

• Basics of physical examination and medical history collection;

• Advanced physical examination and history-taking courses;

• Clinical Practice Course;

• Clinical Procedures;

• Practical exercises in the “Organs and Systems” block;

• Senior student clinical rotation programs;

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Protocol;

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Protocol;

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and more.

Laboratories

Our modern, well-equipped laboratories at DIMH Main Point are led by passionate faculty members who bring theory to life through practical, hands-on learning.

The Histological Research Laboratory

This laboratory supports teaching and research in Medical Biology, Microbiology, Virology, Immunology, Histology, Cytology, Embryology, and Medical Genetics. It enables experiments such as PCR, electrophoresis, ELISA, light and fluorescence microscopy, clinical biochemistry tests, and more. Virtual Labster simulations on Smart Boards enrich the learning experience.

The Tactical Medicine Laboratory

Designed to train students for tactical law enforcement settings, this lab emphasizes safe, effective care in challenging environments. Training includes emergency care within 30 seconds, evacuation procedures, coordination with EMS, and communication optimization to ensure comprehensive care on the scene and during transport.

The Anatomy Laboratory

Featuring full and disarticulated human skeletons, muscular models, and detailed nervous system boards, the lab uses 3D Organon software on Smart Boards for immersive learning. Dissection remains at the heart of our Anatomy course, conducted at affiliated municipal centers in Vinnytsia under faculty supervision, giving students invaluable hands-on experience with human anatomy.

The Physiology Laboratory

This lab provides training in clinical techniques such as ECG, EEG, phonocardiography, reflex testing, and respiratory and hearing assessments. Teaching is enhanced with Smart Boards, Physioex 9.0, and Biopac student lab software to deepen understanding through simulation.

The Physics Laboratory

Hands-on experiments help students master fundamental physics concepts relevant to medicine. Students develop experimental and analytical skills, learn the art of investigation, and use tools ranging from ramps and spheres to Van de Graaff generators, light interference setups, and magnetic induction demonstrators.

The Chemistry Laboratory

Here theory meets practice through experiments in medical and bioorganic chemistry. Students use modern instruments for titrations, spectroscopy, GC/MS, and IR analysis, supported by the Ladderane web platform for interactive learning on Smart Boards. The lab prepares students for advanced medical study and research.

Sport Facilities

DIMH places a strong emphasis on student well-being and active living. Our sports complex includes a gymnasium, fitness room, and dedicated training space that meets national educational standards. We fund professional staff and support student clubs in activities like fitness training, basketball, table tennis, badminton, powerlifting, and bodybuilding—ensuring students enjoy a balanced and healthy lifestyle while studying in Vinnytsia.
