Myrzebasov Maksym Abdulakhovych

Born: July 20, 1990, Torez, Donetsk region
In 2007, he graduated from Luhansk Regional Medical and Biological Lyceum, receiving a complete secondary education certificate. He then entered Luhansk State Medical University, Faculty of Medicine.
On June 27, 2013, he received a full higher education in the specialty “General Medicine” and was awarded the qualification of physician.
After graduation, he completed an internship at the Luhansk Regional Oncology Dispensary and obtained a specialist certificate in Oncology.
After Luhansk State Medical University was relocated to the city of Rubizhne, he worked as an assistant at the Department of Biology, Histology, Pathomorphology and Forensic Medicine. In 2016, he entered postgraduate studies at the State Institution “Luhansk State Medical University”.
In late 2020, he defended his PhD dissertation in Pathological Physiology at Kharkiv National Medical University on the topic: “Pathogenesis of duodenal wall disorders under the influence of light epoxy resins”.
By decision of the specialized academic council in February 2020, he was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences (PhD).
On December 23, 2022, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Biology, Histology, Pathomorphology and Forensic Medicine.
Since 2024, he has held the position of President of the PEHE “Dnipro Institute of Medicine and Public Health”.
He is the author of more than 50 scientific publications, including articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. He is a co-author of 10 educational and methodological manuals for higher medical education students, including English-language editions.
He actively participates in international conferences and scientific programs. He has presented the results of his research at international events in Vienna (2024), Sofia (2024), and has undergone international training within the framework of a multinational educational project.
English proficiency: B2 (Upper-Intermediate); teaches medical subjects in English.

Dovhal Maryna Anatoliivna
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor
Born: August 28, 1972, Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro), Ukraine
In 1989, she graduated from Kherson Secondary School No. 1 with a silver medal. In 1995, she graduated from Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy with honors, majoring in Pediatrics.
From 1995 to 1998, she completed full-time postgraduate studies at the Department of Human Anatomy of Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy. In 1999, she defended her PhD thesis in Normal Anatomy at Kharkiv National Medical University on the topic: “Development of intertissue relationships in the heart of rats in early ontogenesis”.
From the same year, she worked as a lecturer, and from 2002 — as Associate Professor at the Department of Human Anatomy at Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy. In 2004, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Human Anatomy.
In 2007, she defended her doctoral dissertation on “Morphogenesis of the heart under the influence of neural crest damage by ethanol and retinoic acid” (Normal Anatomy specialty) at Kharkiv National Medical University and was promoted to the position of Professor. In 2008, she received the academic title of Professor of Human Anatomy.
Since 2009, she served as Acting Head of the Department of Human Anatomy at Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy, and in 2010, she was appointed to this position following a competitive selection. Since 2012, she has held the position of Head of the Department of Pathophysiology.
In August 2019, she became Head of the Department of Clinical Disciplines at the PEHEI “Dnipro Institute of Medicine and Public Health”. Since early 2025, she has been transferred to the position of Head of the Department of Social-Humanitarian and Biomedical Disciplines of the same institution. Since March 2025, she has served as Acting Rector of the PEHE “Dnipro Institute of Medicine and Public Health”.
She is the author of more than 150 scientific publications, including articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. She is a co-author of 8 patents and over 30 educational and methodological manuals for medical students, including English-language editions.
In 2013, under her supervision, a PhD thesis in Normal Anatomy was successfully defended.
She actively participates in international scientific conferences and academic programs. She has presented her research in Lublin (2004), Belgorod (2006), Bonn (2018), and underwent international training in Poland in 2024.
